They will discuss the role that the burgeoning film industry plays in Massachusetts and how Quincy has benefited from having movies and commercials such as The Company Men, Gone Baby Gone, The Invention of Lying, McDonald's, and VISA shot here. It's sure to be a fun and entertaining evening!

We’re here to assist you with pre-production, acting as a liaison between you and your potential locations, on-location assistance as needed. The Quincy Film Bureau provides the following services (and much, much more!):

• Research of sites for filming
• Referral and access to technical support services
• Referral and access to crew, talent and other professional personnel
• Liaison services between local and federal agencies, the private sector, and production companies
• Assistance in securing permits or clearances required for use of public areas
• Assistance in making necessary arrangements with the Police Department for traffic control, crowd control or barricading of street
